Chamber to host ‘Canada Votes 2025: Tri-Cities All Candidates Event’ on April 23

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is pleased host Canada Votes 2025: Tri-Cities Candidates Event for the two ridings of Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam and Port Moody-Coquitlam, on Wednesday, April 23 in advance of the federal election on April 28.

Chamber Board Chair Jennifer McKinnon will moderate the event taking place at Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam. It runs from 7 to 9 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.

Tri-Cities Chamber CEO Leslie Courchesne resigns

UPDATE April 27, 2025 — Read the Statement from the Board Chair regarding former CEO Leslie Courchesne’s federal candidate endorsement.

After nearly four years as CEO of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, Leslie Courchesne has submitted her resignation to the Board of Directors.

“Leslie’s creative and innovative partnership programs have significantly elevated the opportunities available to our businesses and have strengthened the voice of the Chamber in our community,” said Jennifer McKinnon, Chamber Board Chair.

The complimentary 50-page publication features information on doing business in the Tri-Cities, economic development, and information about the Chamber, including events, programs, membership, benefits, and more. The centre-spread features the Chamber’s Tri-Cities Economic Profile infographic.

Businesses want change to Fawcett on/off ramp access: Tri-Cities Chamber survey results

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce conducted a survey of hundreds of businesses in the United Boulevard area of Coquitlam on what has long been a contentious traffic issue.

Nearly 94% of survey respondents want the Fawcett on/off ramp of Highway 1 open to all traffic, 24 hours per day, seven days a week, should it be deemed safe to do so.
