Business in Vancouver’s Tri-Cities Report showcases our region’s economy and list of biggest employers

The latest issue of Business in Vancouver (BIV) features a seven-page Tri-Cities Report, and a first for the Tri-Cities: a BIV list.

Led by BIV Editor-in-Chief Hayley Woodin, the digital and newsprint edition includes four feature stories, three columns, and a list of the Tri-Cities biggest employers by number of employees.

Tri-Cities Chamber statement on BC Budget 2024

The provincial government unveiled the 2024 BC Budget today in Victoria.

“The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is pleased to see the BC Budget include some tangible cost-savings for businesses, including a cut to the Employer Health Tax that we have long been advocating for,” said Leslie Courchesne, CEO, Tri-Cities Chamber. “We also welcome the much needed investments in health care, housing, and education. But the rise in the province’s budgeted and planned deficit over the next three years is simply staggering.”

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is clearly outlining its priorities for the upcoming 2024 Federal Budget for local Members of Parliament.

Tri-Cities Chamber releases 2024 Economic Profile report

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce has issued its Tri-Cities 2024 Economic Profile. The 77-page report gives an overview of what makes the Tri-Cities a great region in which to live, work, invest, and play.

The report cites statistics from the latest Census data and a variety of other sources. It outlines demographics, labour, education, economic activity, and other categories that are relevant to entrepreneurs looking to establish or move their businesses into the area.
