Tri-Cities Chamber urges local MPs to avert a disruption in Canada’s Class I railways

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is urging our local Members of Parliament to immediately intervene and do everything necessary to avert a disruption in Canada’s Class I railways, after urging the Prime Minister to do the same.

The Chamber’s letters state the potential work stoppage at both major railways will leave our local communities and all Canadians with access to fewer goods and products, driving up prices and exacerbating affordability challenges.

Tri-Cities Chamber endorses BC Chamber’s public policy playbook for 2024-2025

The BC Chamber of Commerce has released its 2024-2025 Policies & Positions Manual, for use as an advocacy playbook by its member Chambers and Boards of Trade across the province, including the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. The document contains 41 policy resolutions approved at the provincial association’s Annual General Meeting and Conference held in Kelowna in May, attended by Tri-Cities Chamber Board Vice Chair Jennifer McKinnon and CEO Leslie Courchesne.
