(Tri-Cities) July 8, 2026 The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce was proud to take part in the Canadian Chamber of Commerce's annual Calgary Stampede reception, where business and government leaders from across the country gathered for an afternoon of meaningful conversations, new connections, and a celebration of one of Canada's most iconic summer traditions.
"Events like these reinforce the value of bringing business leaders together to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and ensure the voice of local business continues to be heard on the national stage." says Jennifer McKinnon, CEO Tri-Cities chamber of Commerce
CEO Jennifer McKinnon joined colleagues from chambers of commerce across Canada at the event, hosted at Rooftop YYC. It was an excellent opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, strengthen relationships, and discuss the issues shaping Canada's business community.

Among those in attendance were our local Members of Parliament, Zoe Royer and Jake Sawatzky, alongside several Members of Parliament from across the country. The gathering highlighted the importance of collaboration between business and government while showcasing the strong national network that supports local chambers and the communities they serve.
