Tri-Cities Businesses Take Centre Stage in a Night to Remember

TRI-CITIES (April 25, 2026) - The Tri-Cities Chamber’s Business Excellence Awards Gala arrived in dazzling Moulin Rouge style. Guests stepped into a world of rich reds, shimmering golds, and Parisian-inspired flair, setting the stage for a night dedicated to the people and businesses that power our community.

"This year’s gala was a celebration of excellence, but also of collaboration. Behind every outstanding business is a network of partners, supporters, and champions, and that night, we recognized them all," said Jennifer Mckinnon, CEO, Tri-Cities Chamber. "We celebrated award winners, of course, but also the relationships and community that bring those achievements to life. The referrals, the advice, the “hey, I know someone you should meet” moments, that’s the real engine behind success.  Because around here, no one builds something great alone. We show up, we support, and when one business wins, it feels like a win for everyone."

The Chamber received more than 60 nominations across seven award categories. A volunteer panel of judges carefully reviewed each submission and selected the finalists and recipients, who were announced at the gala.  The evening also featured a special eighth honour, presented by Vivien Symington, Past Chair of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. Darcy Poole of Great Canadian Casino Vancouver was recognized as Chamber Member of the Year.

The event was presented by Coquitlam Continuing Education.
