(TRI-CITIES) September 29, 2026 The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce BCLC as a new sponsor of Tri-Local, a community-focused initiative that supports local businesses, showcases the Tri-Cities’ vibrant food scene, and brings people together through shared experiences.

The partnership aligns with BCLC’s Human Connection Project, which focuses on creating and supporting opportunities for meaningful human connection. Through Tri-Local, BCLC’s support will help bring people together in simple, meaningful ways, whether it’s gathering around a table, or learning something new. The partnership also reflects a shared commitment to supporting the businesses that make the Tri-Cities a great place to live, work and connect.

Tri-Local brings together three signature Chamber initiatives: Taste of the Tri-Cities, Savour the Summer and Tri-Social Club. Together, the programs provide year-round opportunities to experience local flavours, discover new businesses, and build meaningful community connections.

Taste of the Tri-Cities — An annual dining festival showcasing restaurants, cafés, breweries and other food and beverage businesses throughout the Tri-Cities.

Savour the Summer — A seasonal campaign encouraging the community to discover and support local restaurants, cafés, bakeries and breweries throughout the summer.

Tri-Social Club — A series of interactive workshops and social experiences designed to bring people together while highlighting local businesses.

“We’re thrilled to welcome BCLC as the Community Connection Sponsor of Tri-Local,” said Chloe Wan, director of strategy. “This partnership is about supporting local businesses and creating more opportunities for people to connect. Whether it’s sharing a good meal with a colleague, joining a cooking workshop with a neighbour, or catching up with an old friend, these are the moments that bring people together. We’re excited to create more of those opportunities through Tri-Local.”
