Celebrating Leadership, Commitment, and Community: Darcy Poole Named 2026 Chamber Member of the Year

(Tri-Cities) April 10, 2026 The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Darcy Poole, Assistant General Manager at Great Canadian Casino, as the 2026 Chamber Member of the Year.

With an impressive 26-year career, Darcy’s journey is a true testament to dedication, growth, and leadership. Beginning as a Security Officer at the Newton location—prior to the casino’s move to Coquitlam—he steadily advanced through the organization, taking on roles as Security Supervisor and Security Manager before transitioning into Operations.

In 2017, Darcy expanded his expertise at Elements Surrey, where he oversaw Slots, Cage, and Guest Services. He then continued to build on his leadership experience at River Rock as Slot and Guest Services Manager. In 2020, Darcy returned to what he proudly calls home—the Hard Rock Casino in the Tri-Cities—as Director of Operations. A few years later, he stepped into his current role as Assistant General Manager, where he continues to lead with a strong focus on team culture and exceptional guest experiences.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Darcy’s impact on the local community is both significant and inspiring. Alongside his team, he has been a consistent and generous supporter of the Tri-Cities Chamber and its initiatives. From sponsoring and participating in numerous events—including golf tournaments—to championing community engagement, Darcy exemplifies what it means to be a committed Chamber member.

“Being part of the Chamber is about more than business—it’s about showing up for your community. I’m proud to stand alongside organizations that are committed to making the Tri-Cities stronger, more connected, and more resilient” Darcy states.

In 2024 and 2025, his team contributed over $60,000 in gift certificate donations to Chamber initiatives and local stakeholder events. Additionally, Great Canadian Casino supported 19 local charities with more than $65,000 in cash contributions, reinforcing an ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference in the community.
Darcy’s leadership reflects not only professional excellence but also a deep-rooted belief in giving back. His continued efforts to support local organizations and foster community connections embody the very spirit of this award.

Please join us in congratulating Darcy Poole on being named the 2026 Chamber Member of the Year—a well-deserved recognition of a career built on integrity, leadership, and community impact.
