(Tri-Cities, BC) February 18, 2025 The sold-out kickoff event, held at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, built excitement for the annual food and beverage festival, which runs from February 15 to March 15, 2026. The month-long celebration will feature dozens of restaurants, pubs and food trucks across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.

Around 180 business leaders and politicians gathered to mix, mingle and sample savoury dishes and sweet treats at the Taste of the Tri-Cities Launch Party on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver.
"Our goal is to elevate the Tri-Cities as a premier culinary destination - bringing more restaurants on board each year, increasing community engagement, and building a festival that food lovers from across the Lower Mainland look forward to attending." said Chloe Wan, Director of Strategy, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce.
The launch party featured a food-station-style tasting experience, allowing guests to sample offerings from some of the Taste of the Tri-Cities participating businesses in one space. This new format creates added value on multiple levels - generating revenue to support the festival, providing extra exposure for participating restaurants, and helping to build excitement leading into the month-long campaign.

One of the most exciting parts of Taste of the Tri-Cities is the diversity of cuisines and businesses it brings together. Each year, the festival features an even broader mix of cuisines and dining experiences - from neighbourhood favourites to chain restaurants. It encourages people to explore new flavour and appreciate other cultures. This year brings a growing lineup of 30+ new participating businesses, giving diners even more places to explore across the Tri-Cities.
Taste of the Tri-Cities
Launched in 2021, Taste of the Tri-Cities is an annual food and drink festival designed to spotlight the very best restaurants, eateries, pubs, breweries, and cafés across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody. The initiative was originally created by the Tri-Local Collective in response to the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the goal of supporting one of our region’s most vibrant industries during its slowest months. Over the years, the campaign has grown from a small local dining promotion into one of the region’s most well-loved food and drink festivals.
