Camelia Maxim promoted to Tri-Cities Chamber Office Manager

(TRI-CITIES) September 6, 2023 — The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce congratulates Camelia Maxim on her promotion to the position of Office Manager.

"Camelia Maxim is passionate about our work to support the business community, and is highly dedicated to ensuring our members' needs are met," said Leslie Courchesne, CEO. "Our Chamber could not have grown to become one of the top five largest chambers and boards of trade in the province without Camelia's tireless efforts. This newly expanded role signals the leadership she is bringing to our operations. I am absolutely thrilled Camelia has accepted this promotion to advance her career with us."

Previously serving as Office Administrator, Camelia joined the Chamber staff team in 2017 as an intern from Coquitlam Continuing Education. She now has primary responsibility for the Chamber's membership database, membership renewal communications, certificates of origin, office operations, and more.

"I genuinely believe that it takes all of us to work together to build a strong Chamber of Commerce and to express all of our love to the business community, to the not for profit organizations and to all of the individual members of our Chamber," said Maxim.

"I am unequivocally thankful to our dream team and to our exceptional members for all the love, support, guidance and inclusion they show towards me," she added.

Camelia immigrated to the Tri-Cities from Transylvania, Romania with her husband and two daughters in 2013. She now lives in Port Moody, and has recently become a very proud grandmother.
