Tri-Local Collective partners and festival sponsors celebrate the Taste of the Tri-Cities launch at Fairways Grill & Patio, Coquitlam.

(TRI-CITIES) February 16, 2023 — Your taste buds are in for a treat. More than 50 local restaurants, tasting rooms and fine establishments across Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody are featured in this year's Taste of the Tri-Cities festival, running February 17 to March 12. Each are offering a special menu item or discount for you to enjoy.

“We’re hoping to bring more awareness to our local businesses... Overall, money spent on our local economy impacts our community 4.6x more than money spent elsewhere," said Christina Brown, Operations Manager, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. "We believe that by showing our neighbours how their money is making a difference, it will encourage them to continue supporting the Tri-Cities.”

The festival is organized by the Tri-Local Collective, a partnership of the Cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, Austin Heights Business Improvement Association, Downtown Port Coquitlam Business Improvement Association, Port Moody & Co., Shop Local Port Moody, and the Tri-City News. Global BC is also onboard as a sponsor.
