Member of the Year and Finalists announced for Tri-Cities Chamber 2023 Business Excellence Awards

(TRI-CITIES) February 9, 2023 — The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2023 Chamber Member of the Year, Navid Morawej, and the finalists in eight categories for its 2023 Business Excellence Awards.

"Our Chamber takes pride in bringing together business and community leaders for a premier gala to celebrate and recognize outstanding organizations and individuals that demonstrate excellence in business and a passion for the community," said Leslie Courchesne, CEO, Tri-Cities Chamber.

The Chamber Member of the Year, selected annually by the Chamber's immediate past board chair, honours a person who has gone above and beyond in terms of their involvement with the Chamber and the wider community.

For the remaining award categories, two panels of five judges reviewed the 100 nominations to select the 24 finalists, and will now set to work on choosing the recipients in each category to be announced at the gala. Chamber members can cast their votes for finalists, and the results will be part of the judging process. Judges remain anonymous, and are selected to represent the Chamber's board of directors, board of governors, ambassadors, past award recipients, and sponsors.

The 2023 Business Excellence Awards gala will take place April 29, at The Show Theatre, Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. The event typically sells out weeks in advance, and tickets are on sale now.
