In business since 1993, Davide Fantillo has been the President and Owner of Crest Impressions Inc., a commercial printing & graphics company offering end-to-end solutions, including printing, design, pre-press, binding, mailing, shipping and fulfillment. Recognized as one of the Tri-Cities most experienced printing and graphics company, Crest Impressions Inc. has offered quality print production and service for over 18 years.

In 2005, Davide was nominated for the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce’s “Chamber Member of the Year” award, and was a finalist for the “Small Business of the Year” award.

In his spare time, Davide has served in the Douglas College Self Employment local committee review board and has sat on the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation’s Improvement Committee. He also was a Charter Member in the Rotary Club of Port Coquitlam Centennial Club. He currently sits in the 2nd Vice-Chair position with the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce.

He is very involved with his 3 children, aged 14, 12 and 9 that keep both him and his wife of over 19 years very busy.

Peggy Hunt

1st Vice Chair, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce

Peggy Hunt has over 25 years of experience as a public relations and communications specialist, in addition to 14 years as an entrepreneur; owning and operating retail, wholesale and franchise businesses in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. She is a former director and
executive committee member of the Surrey Board of Trade, having served on that Board for some 8 – 9 years. She has participated on the Public Safety and Transportation and Infrastructure Committees and also participated on other committees such as the Police Officer of the Year Awards Committee. She is a member of the Canadian Public Relations Society and has her IAP2 Certification in Public Participation.

In her current position as Manager, Municipal Relations, with TransLink’s corporate and public affairs Peggy has responsibility for supporting public consultation/government relations, corporate communications, the Executive Team and Board Chair in planning and executing strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Peggy resides locally and is a member of Port Coquitlam’s ‘Mayors Action Team on Homelessness’ (MATH) Taskforce. She has held various senior positions in private and crown corporations as well as owning her own strategic communications
consulting firm.

In addition to her professional life Peggy enjoys boating, running and traveling. She had the good fortune of being part of
a team of 10 and successfully summated Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Rick Pasin, 3rd Vice-ChairRick Pasin

2nd Vice-Chair, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce
Sprott-Shaw Community College

Rick Pasin believes that we can strengthen our local economy by ensuring we have a strong and vibrant business community. He states that education must be a very important component to this goal if our cities are to continually develop a skilled local workforce, and set of entrepreneurs, capable of meeting the challenges posed by a recovering economy.

To achieve these objectives Rick, as Chair of the Chamber’s 2010 Youth Entrepreneurial Committee, has recruited talented members of the Tri-Cities education and business community. Drawing on this group’s expertise, Rick has developed a new low cost youth chamber member program, produced a Youth Committee website page (http://www.tricitieschamber.com/educate/youth/), and redesigned the business resources section of the chamber’s website into a major resource of information for all business people and entrepreneurs (http://www.tricitieschamber.com/educate/resources/business-resources/). He is planning to launch a new youth business mentorship program this fall.

Rick is a Director of Sprott-Shaw Community College (the largest and oldest private college in British Columbia), Cliff Avenue United Football Club, and the Burnaby District Youth Soccer Association.

Born in Burnaby in 1970, Rick earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of British Columbia and later earned his executive and teaching credentials at the UBC Sauder School of Business and Vancouver Community College. Rick and his wife, Anthea, live in Coquitlam, BC. They have two children.

Jimmy Ho

3rd Vice-Chair, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce
Boulevard Casino

Jimmy has worked in the Tri Cities Area since 1998 for Great Canadian Casinos at their Boulevard Casino location as an Assistant General Manager. He draws from 22 years of gaming experience with an existing goal to ensure that the Boulevard property is the premier gaming and entertainment destination in the Tri-Cities Area.

Jimmy has been on the Board of Directors for the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce since 2009 and also sits as Chair of the Tri Cities Chamber Transportation Committee. He regularly attends local and regional meetings on transportation issues to ensure the Chamber is active on matters relating to transportation.

Jimmy resides in Port Coquitlam with his wife and his 4 year old daughter. He believes that the Tri Cities Area has a healthy and vibrant community that is ideal for raising a family.

Trevor Sutherland, TreasurerTrevor Sutherland

Treasurer, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce

Trevor is a Partner of EPR Coquitlam and manages the Firm’s business advisory services. A graduate of the Simon Fraser University BBA Program, Trevor also holds an accounting diploma from BCIT. He obtained his CGA designation in 1998. Prior to joining EPR in 1997, he spent five years in private industry as a senior accountant of a property management company.

Trevor’s area of practice is providing consulting and corporate services to both small and medium sized organizations. His year-end engagements consist of audits, review engagements, and compilations for profit and not-for-profit organizations.

On the tax side, he works with clients to plan their personal and corporate tax strategy to meet their financial objectives. Trevor has also helped many clients obtain sizeable investment tax credit refunds under the Scientific Research and Experimental Development program (SR&ED).

Trevor is responsible for managing the firm’s IT requirements and works on keeping EPR at the leading edge of IT innovation. He routinely advises clients on IT issues to help them improve their financial accounting and reporting processes.

Under the category of “pay it forward”, Trevor serves his community as Treasurer for the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. Trevor is very active on numerous committees with his church and as a member of the CGA BC discipline committee.

Richard Rainey

Past Chair, Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce

Richard J.S. Rainey Law Corporation

Richard Rainey is a Coquitlam lawyer practicing principally in the areas of business law, wills and estates. Richard and his family are longtime Coquitlam residents, living in the Chineside area.
Richard is a graduate of Simon Fraser University, and The University of British Columbia and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1992. Richard practiced business law in Vancouver with Douglas, Symes & Brissenden and Heenan Blaikie until forming his own firm in 2000.
Richard is the new 2011 Chair for the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Serving Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody. He also serves as its Policy Chair. In addition, Richard is a Director of the Coquitlam Heritage Society, the Coquitlam Foundation and the Coquitlam Adanacs Senior A Lacrosse Club.
Richard is a former member of the Simon Fraser University Senate, the Board of Governors of the Children’s Foundation of British Columbia, and the Board of Governors of the Meadowridge School Society. Richard has also previously served on the Advisory Planning Commission to the City of Burnaby, has been an instructor in corporate law with the Professional Legal Training Course (the British Columbia bar admission course), and a lecturer in franchise and licensing issues with the People’s Law School.

Brad Alden, DirectorBrad Alden

Brad Alden is Regional Publisher for Postmedia Community Publishing; responsible for their newspaper and distribution operations in Coquitlam, Burnaby and New Westminster. This includes The NOW in the Tri-Cities, the Burnaby NOW and The Record in New Westminster. Additionally he is responsible for a regional classified call centre and centralized production facility which serve other Metro Vancouver markets. Alden has been in the newspaper business since 1988. Previously he held various owner-operator, franchise owner and senior operating partner roles with Keg Restaurants in both Canada and the U.S.

Alden is currently a director of the Burnaby Board of Trade and Tourism Burnaby, and is a former director of numerous associations and foundations including the BC and Yukon Community Newspaper Association, the Canadian Community Newspaper Association, the Fraser River Discovery Centre Foundation and the Burnaby Hospital Foundation. He served as past-chair of the Burnaby Board of Trade, Burnaby Board of Trade Board of Governors, BC and Yukon Community Newspaper Association and the Burnaby Association for Community Inclusion Foundation. He was recognized in 2005 as Burnaby’s Business Person of the Year at the Burnaby Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards.

Janine Davies, Director Janine Davies

Janine Davies is a highly qualified Branch Manager with experience in the management of sales teams for Credit Unions and Banks. Her career began in finance in 1990 in the Brokerage Industry and transitioned to Banking in 2003. She is delighted to now be working at G&F Financial Group in the Tri-Cities where home and work meet.

In 2007 she was recognized by Vancity for her leadership of the Shooting Stars Foundation. In the last 10 years, as Vice Chair she guided the organization to raise and distribute in excess of 1.65 million dollars to direct service HIV/AIDS projects. Janine has had great success in her ability to create innovative partnerships that both support community development and foster engaged corporate participation.

In addition to being certified as an Investment Specialist, Janine holds a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Political Science from Carleton University. She completed a scholarship in Japanese Immersion at Aichi GakusenDaigaku under the auspices of the Capilano University Transfer Program. This early international student experience has resulted in her personal commitment to continuous learning throughout her career.
Janine was born and raised in North Vancouver and has been a resident of Port Coquitlam for the past 7 years. She believes that the economic well-being of the
Tri-cities is vital and shares the Chamber’s commitment to business excellence. She is confident that her values and business acumen will complement the existing board’s agenda to make the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce the premier business association in BC.

Desiree Dupuis

As partner and co-founder of Three Sixty Financial Group, Desirée’s mandate is to help local business owners protect themselves and their business financially through various insurance and tax-saving solutions.

Since moving to Port Moody in June 2010, Desirée has become fully immersed in the Tri-Cities community. Shortly after re-locating from Kitsilano, Desiree became a member of the Chamber of Commerce and joined the Membership Committee.  As a strong believer of community support, she also joined the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation as a volunteer.

Desirée is fully active and engaged in the Tri-Cities. As a member of BNI Connexus, she meets with local business owners weekly in an effort to support and promote other Tri-Cities based businesses. In addition, Desiree and her partner Kelly founded a monthly event series called Think Thursdays, which encourages local business owners to build relationships with each other to further support the local business community. Think Thursdays also provides a knowledgeable speaker monthly to share important and relevant information in order to help business owners improve their business.

Three Sixty Financial Group is located in Port Moody, inside the Perry Roe Heritage Building. Desiree lives in Heritage Woods and is looking forward to being a Port Moody resident and business owner for many years to come.

Tereza McDermid

Tereza McDermid, born and raised in Coquitlam, is a long-time supporter and member of the Tri Cities Chamber of Commerce.

As the General Manager of the BEST WESTERN PLUS Coquitlam Inn & Convention Centre, Tereza oversees the operations, marketing and strategic direction of the full service hotel and liquor store. Tereza is also responsible for property management of Heron Developments.

As a former community newspaper publisher and Vancouver Board of Trade employee, Tereza brings experience in building and strengthening business to business relationships. Martin Wyant

Martin Wyant is the Chief Executive Officer of SHARE Family & Community Services. SHARE delivers a broad range of services to help vulnerable individuals and families in the Tri-cities.

Martin’s career has included private and public sector leadership roles in economic development, employment services, telecommunications, manufacturing and community services.

Martin has also been self-employed as a business consultant. In this role, he produced numerous studies and plans for private and public sector clients, including the “Northern Ontario Trade Strategy” and the “Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District Export Potential Study” for the federal government.

In addition to his career experience, Martin has also been an active volunteer with many organizations, including: Board of Governors, Algoma University; Board of Directors, United Way of Sault Ste. Marie; Export Development Committee, RAPIDS Community Investment; Board of Directors, Community Information and Career Centre; Board of Directors, Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Association.

Martin sees significant opportunities to develop new programs and services that can help our local business community thrive, including the development and implementation of a Tri-cities community planning project that will help us identify our top priorities for economic development, business development, health, education and social services.
