The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is a proactive network of business-minded individuals that are committed to acting as an accessible, visible, supportive and reciprocal resource to our members and the Tri-Cities at large, communicating their collective voice to help shape a prosperous business community.

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization comprised of individuals, businesses, residents and other organizations that serves Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.
It is governed by a 14 person volunteer Board of Directors. The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce has its own bylaws but is legislated under the Board of Trade and Society Acts.
The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is currently made up of over 840 members. Membership ranges from $257.25 to $1.580.25 (plus GST) depending on the size of the organization.
Included in the cost of membership are many goods and service discounts and Chamber group health benefits, as well as discounted merchant services. There are many member to member discounts as well.
The annual operating budget is approximately $375,000 with 50% supported through membership dues.
The Board of Directors of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is made up of eight directors who generously volunteer their time. The past Chair is an ex-officio member of the Board.
The Executive of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce is made up of a Chair, a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Vice-Chair and a Treasurer.
Directors serve a two-year term while Chairs change annually.
Board Members and the Executive are nominated by their fellow Chamber members to represent their interests. Elections take place once a year at the Annual General Meeting which is always held the third Thursday of November.
The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce takes great pride in the prominent role we play in policy development within the Chamber movement. We are a member of the BC Chamber of Commerce, which represents the interests and concerns of local Chambers of Commerce and corporate members from across the province.
We also belong to the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, a national organization that speaks for more than 175,000 businesses on national and international issues. The Canadian Chamber represents over 350 local Chambers and Boards of Trade across Canada and carries the message of the local chambers to members of parliament.
The BC Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce have the ear of the provincial and federal governments, who look to the Chamber community for leadership and innovation in a broad range of policy areas. The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce has been very active in the area of policy development and has contributed both provincially and federally, representing the concerns and issues facing our local business community.
