Youth can join Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce with special pricing of $60 (plus taxes) per year. Youth must be 25 younger, or have proof of enrollment in a certified BC post-secondary education institution). The Chamber has put together a program where students and youth can earn credits towards their next year’s membership by volunteering.

Human Rights Toolkit for Small Business seminar
Human Rights Toolkit for Small Business is a one day seminar intended to assist small businesses in recruiting and retaining employees from an increasingly diverse workforce while understanding and avoiding human rights complaints, which can be costly and time consuming. Seminar includes refreshments, lunch and a tool-kit binder.

Between the ages of 18 and 35 and interested in business planning and financing your business? Come to this all day session to learn from the Small Business BC business plan team important tips your fianancer will want to know. CYBF and traditional banks will talk about the steps necessary to access financing. A discussion on online marketing and social media techniques will also be discussed.
