With an effective system of public and private schools, and close proximity to various post secondary institutions, the facilities combine to provide a rich quality of life, not only to its residents, but also to businesses and industrial enterprises located within the region.

Northwest route decided for Evergreen Line
April 18, 2008
COQUITLAM – Transportation Minister Kevin Falcon and TransLink Chair Dale Parker announced today that the Evergreen Rapid Transit Line will be constructed on the Northwest route, connecting Lougheed Town Centre with Coquitlam Town Centre through Port Moody.
