2008 Committees
The Chair, Tony Osachoff presides over a
volunteer Board consisting of himself, three Vice Chairs, Treasurer, the
immediate Past President, and eight Directors. The Treasurer oversees
the finances of the Chamber with an Annual Budget and Statement of
Accounts presented at each Board Meeting. The daily administration of
the Chamber is handled by staff at the Chamber office, lead by the
Executive Director, Jill Cook.
Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Communications and Member
Services Committee
Chair - ted LAU
General Mandate:
· Ensure good value for our members in all
aspects of Chamber programming and offerings
· Increase the profile of the Chamber through
activities, publications and events
· Increase the Chamber membership by providing
referrals, support and leadership.
Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce
Community Relations Committee
Chair: Stephanie Booth
General Mandate:
· Be the Chamber presence and profile at Community
meetings and events
· Increase the connection and synergies between the
broader community and business community
· Provide value for our members by strengthening the
communities in which they do business
Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce Policy
Committee
Chair: Richard Rainey
General Mandate:
· Develop an overall awareness of
Chamber policy
· Review BC Chamber and Canadian Chamber
policies
· Adopt BC Chamber and Canadian Chamber policies
as appropriate
· Develop and submit policies (three per year) to
the BC Chamber for discussion at the BC Chamber AGM
· Solicit and synthesize input from membership on
appropriate policy direction
