Mayors’ Mixer 2011: Review

Another “sold-out” Chamber event happened on July 7 when the Mayors of each of the cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody were welcomed to the annual Mayors’ Mixer, held at the Executive Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre in Coquitlam.

The Mayors’ Mixer 2011 offered up an evening filled with catchy music, high energy, an amazing BBQ buffet, followed by MC - Greg Garrison of Mardon Insurance taking questions and answers from the floor and directed to the Mayors on a variety of of local issues including pesticides, Evergreen Line, the arts, transportation, property taxes and hotel development.

Thanks to the Mayors, Joe Trasolini-Port Moody, Greg Moore-Port Coquitlam and Richard Stewart-Coquitlam for their attendance, and as well, the sell-out crowd who came in support of the Mayors and this yearly Chamber event.
