Avenir opened its 135 suite Astoria Resort Retirement community this past January, on the heels of five previous and very successful retirement communities from the family owned builder and operator.
Located in the heart of Port Coquitlam at 2245 Kelly Ave, Astoria features independent living suites with assisted living services available to resident’s a-la-carte.
The Astoria design was inspired by Violet Craik, one of the owners of Avenir. She built it in memory of her family who owned the Astoria Hotel in Jasper, Alberta.
Firm President, Les Craik, believes they are making a difference in seniors’ lives because of their “mission of the heart, people first” philosophy.
Residents enjoy gourmet dining, prepared by the highest quality Red Seal Chef’s.
