Annual Mayors’ Mixer – In Review
A “warm” reception for the Mayors of the Tri-Cities
The three Mayors of the Tri-Cities, Mayor Greg Moore – Port Coquitlam, Mayor Joe Trasolini – Port Moody and Mayor Richard Stewart – Coquitlam were all in attendance on Thursday July 8th as the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce hosted the Annual Mayors’ Mixer. Sponsored by HSBC, this year the event moved to SAMZ Pub in Port Coquitlam, in an effort to change it from city to city. Guests were treated to a BBQ buffet, followed by a question and answer period as Greg Garrison of Mardon & Garrison Insurance Brokers Ltd. ( MC) directed the flow of questions from attendees to the Mayors on a variety of local topics and priorities.
Despite the slight temperature situation, the event was once again, a great success. The Chamber wishes to thank each of the Mayors for being present and as well, the sell-out crowd who came in support of the Mayors and this yearly Chamber event. We would also like to thank Geoff Scott and his crew from Tri-Cities Community Television Society for their coverage of the event.
