Annual Golf Tournament – In Review
What a day!
The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce hosted our 27th Annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 20th. Held at beautiful Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club, the event took participants on a “Round the World” trip without having to leave the Tri-Cities! With each hole representing a different country, hosted by a variety of businesses, participants were treated to a wide variety of food, refreshments, and activities. Weather was a challenge (as it can with any outdoor events in the spring) and even though every conceivable type of weather made an appearance, it still wasn’t enough to dampen the spirits of our enthusiastic golfers, Tri-Citiy business representatives and volunteers who came out to take in the day, and in spite of the weather ups and downs, enjoy it they did! The day of golf carried on to an eventful evening, including a tasty buffet dinner, followed by presentations of awards, prizes and excited bids on an assortment of Silent Auction items.
